30 years of friendship born on the benches of the TBS Education school
In 1994, Guillaume, Laurent, Thomas, Anne-Lise and Astrid joined TBS Education with no idea that this would mark the beginning of a loyal friendship!
It was at the Bureau Des Sports that they met and began to bond. For three years, they partied together, shared group work, played sports and took on numerous challenges. Over time, a group of twenty or so friends was formed. Even after graduation, the story continued. They've kept that unbreakable bond. Naturally, they began to organize evenings, weekends and even weeks together, always in a festive atmosphere. Without realizing it, they were creating a timeless tradition.
In 1999, they decided to get together for a week of skiing, sport and festivities in Val d'Isère. It was a first edition, filled with exchanges and memories in a warm atmosphere. "We enjoyed the week so much that we decided to make it an annual event," says Stéphane. It was the start of a fine tradition. Every year, the group gathers in the same gîte in Val d'Isère and takes advantage of the opportunity to strengthen the bonds of their friendship.
Whatever the differences between their professional and personal life paths, the group remains close-knit and their friendship endures. Over time, they share their successes and challenges, offer advice and help each other. "These annual get-togethers are moments of sharing that we hold dear," explains Stéphane.
In 2014, while the tradition of skiing continued, a new idea was born: to celebrate their 40th anniversary together. During a weekend-end in Girona, they organized a party in each other's honor. It was a wonderful reunion, full of laughter and new memories.
Ten years later, in 2024, they met again, this time to celebrate their 50th anniversary. This year, they pulled out all the stops and met up in Marbella. An unforgettable week-end in a festive vacation atmosphere. To take on such a project for around twenty people, four of them took charge of organizing the trip. Although they were not event planners, each of them pitched in and together they created a weekend to match their own image.
Like the class of 1997, many other graduating classes get together to celebrate events in their honor or otherwise. So why not celebrate your class this year?
