On Tuesday 14th April 2020, Chapter TBS Alumni Barcelona presented its first online workshop entitled "A CV that looks like me" conducted by Alexandra (PGE 2010) and Inès (PGE 2011).
You can watch the workshop on reply here :
In summary, it is important to remember the following points :
- The CV (contents AND layout) is an extension of who you are and what you aspire to.
- How to use your past experience to reveal your key skills that you want to promote today as well as use and develop in your next professional position.
- Don't forget to reconnect with yourself. We have a tendancy to forget ourselves in the desire to model our CV on the vacant position for which we want to apply. Keep in mind what we like to do and what we would prefer not to do in the future.
- The complex differences between appetite and skills
- How to spotlight values and skills on a CV
- There are tools that can be used to review our professional experience and identify what we like to do.
