Maryvonne Le Brignonen, Director of Tracfin, appointed to Head the new ENA
Maryvonne Le Brignonen has been appointed Director of the National Institute of Public Service, which will replace ENA. She had led the project of the levy at source before directing Tracfin.
Less than a year after Emmanuel Macron's announcement last April of the abolition of the ENA, the National Institute of Public Service (INSP) that will succeed it is taking shape. After Jean Bassères submitted his report on the prefiguration of the INSP on Friday, the Council of Ministers examined on Wednesday the decree that will govern its operation and appointed its director, or rather its director: Maryvonne Le Brignonen.
This 46 year old Breton has a double experience. A graduate of the Ecole supérieure de commerce de Toulouse, she began her professional career in the private sector. She worked for nine years in auditing before entering the ENA through the third competitive examination, open to private sector employees.
As a finance inspector, she piloted the reform of the withholding tax from 2015 before taking over the management of Tracfin, the French financial intelligence service.
