Solidarity Mission in Peru

28 February 2021 Association
Published by Elliott MORGAN

A call to the Alumni network by 12 PGE students who are part of the Human'Act division within the humanitarian association « Le Bureau De l’Humanitaire » (BDH). It was elected Best Student Association in France in 2020 (ANEO).

Just like every year, 12 students in the division are mobilized abroad to help the most disadvantaged populations.

This year, we have decided to go to Peru, in collaboration with the NGO, Hilo Rojo, in the city of Trujillo.

Once we reach the city, we will spend 3 weeks with the association, Hilo Rojo, to complete the following missions :

  • Participate in renovating the school where the NGO operates, as well as the access routes,
  • Help families in need, in particular, we will help mothers looking for employment,
  • Teach in educational workshops to enhance children's well-being,
  • Help children between the age of 5 and 12 with classwork (especially languages).

This mission is totally in line with the international dimension of the Bureau De l’Humanitaire.

How can you help us ?

In view of the health crisis this year, we lack a great deal of visibility and financial support while, as you can imagine, we really need them to make this project a success.

We invite you to go to the Facebook page of Bureau de l’Humanitaire, as well as the Human Act Instagram Account (humanact.tbs), where you can see our publications and videos.

Click on the link here below to contribute to our collection before our departure on 9th May (every little helps and will be much appreciated 😊).

We are counting on you to help us collect the funds which will finance several parts of our mission :

  • School supplies for the children so that we can work with them, as well as books, games and clothing,
  • Equipment to repair the routes throughout the community,
  • Our food and accommodation locally.

A few words about the association

The Bureau De l’Humanitaire (BDH) is a humanitarian association with 50 committed students from TBS Business School. It has 6 separate divisions which manage both local and international actions. Moreover, it has won awards for its humanitarian commitment (Best Student Association in France 2020 – ANEO), it hopes to continue to grow and reach out to more and more people in need.
