Nathan & Flavien (TBS 2020) launch Bomolet

Bomolet is a new French brand of running t-shirt that is both environmentally committed and responsible. 

Created by Nathan Darly and Flavien Thouroude, this new brand was officially launched on 13th January, 2021. 

The purpose of Bomolet is to provide running enthusiasts with technical running clothing that respects both Man and the planet. By creating Bomolet, they made the conscious decision to make a technical t-shirt made in France out of recycled plastic bottles. It takes 12 recycled bottles to make one t-shirt. 

300 runners contributed to the design process in order to produce a product that answers the running enthusiasts requirements. 

Their path is mapped out to run in entrepreneurship 

It looks like Nathan and Flavien are made for entreneurship. Flavien joined the association for entrepreneurship at TBS called Optimize, which helped him learn the ropes to entrepreneurship. In their last year of their master's degree, they have chosen the specialization in digital marketing which provides the skills to develop a product from 0 to 1 online. All they needed was an idea and they were ready to go!   

The idea came from their everyday lives and their wish to be better consumers, which is not so easy in the area of sport they are in: running. 

 How can you put up with the idea of running in equipment that has already travelled more kilometres than you in your whole life? 

They didn't find a single brand which suited in terms of product or overall approach. Few running clothing companies take environemental and social factors into account, let alone providing transparency. So they decided to take concrete action and create the product themselves that would satisfy their expectations. This is how Bomolet came into being. They subsequently joined the TBSeeds incubator to receive support during the entire development process through workshops and coaching. 

The publicity campaign is a success already, and both designers don't intend to stop now that they are well underway. A marathon has made commitment to them in their intention to create other products, a complete runners' kit : shorts, socks, long-sleeved t-shirts.
