A look back at the Alumni Calçotada!
On Saturday March 11th, the Barcelona Chapter organized the traditional Alumni Calçotada under a warm sun and an exceptional location.
More than 30 Catalan Alumni were present and met by the sea in Vilanova i la Geltrú.
Carlos Alcover (TBS Education 2005) welcomed our beautiful Barcelona Chapter in his restaurant La Cucanya, located in a privileged enclave, facing the sea and surrounded by private gardens. For this festive day: food and drinks at will!
You were not part of the party, but are planning a trip to Catalonia? Stop by the magnificent Carlors restaurant, you won't be disappointed!
Before a return in image, a small question: the Calçotada it speaks to you?
The Calçotada is a Catalan tradition born in the 19th century. Since then, it has become a popular festival welcoming many gourmets.
If you participate in the Calçotada, you will have the opportunity to taste the "calçots", sweet onions of the leek family. They are cooked on a barbecue over a wood fire and eaten with romesco sauce made with tomatoes, garlic, almonds and hazelnuts: a real delight!
Now that this event has no more secrets for you, a return in images is necessary 💃
A big thank you to the volunteers of the Barcelona Chapter for the organization of this beautiful event 🥰
