Cheer Up & BDS : Support the student project : Into The Ride

Into The Ride is first and foremost a solidarity-based human adventure intent on supporting young people with cancer.

This project was inspired by the program Pékin Express and is driven by two associations within Toulouse Business School: 
on the one hand, the association Cheer Up by TBS, on the other hand, Bureau des Sports Extrêmes.

The ITR concept is simple : 12 young people in hospital, paired with 12 students from TBS, 7 days, 2 000 km to cover by hitchhiking, and all of that with just 1 euro a day! For one week, each team composed of pairs - a young person and a follower attempt to win the challenges to become the happy winner of the event. Their challenge involves creating a new reason to be happy and to provide distraction to young people who are already supported on a daily basis by Cheer Up, thus breaking the isolation that can be felt with cancer.

While it has been difficult for everyone, this Covid-19 period has had an a considerable impact on the associations and in the search for partners to finance the projects.

It is for this reason that a funding pot has been opened at the same time as a call for your generosity

Naturally your donations will go to all the people who are fighting the virus, to the families of victims but also to young people with cancer who are all alone and can receive visits from one parent only. 

The TBS students are hoping to be able to start hospital visits again soon and to finish the year that didn't get off to a good start with a solidarity-based adventure.
