Ze-Watt: a turnkey solution deployed all over France
Young start-up Ze-Watt offers the installation of charging stations for electric vehicles on the companies' locations.
Firmly connected to the future, Ze-Watt wants to accelerate. The start-up of Toulouse, born in 2015, has quickly counted large players in the Toulouse ecosystem among its customers, seduced by the turnkey service of installing charging stations for electric vehicles on corporate sites.
Safran, Thales, Mallet, Continental Automotive, Airbus Defense & Space, Tisséo and Liebherr are now trusting the young company, which has started the deployment of its "electrical stations" throughout France and wants to establish itself as the leader in this nascent market.
"We have a unique global offer on the market, it includes the delivery and installation of the charging stations, the remote management, and the maintenance" explains Éric Gaigneux (Promo 2015, CPA) co-founder, ex-manager in the construction sector. "This system is fairly simple for companies and employees, you just have to subscribe on our platform o receive an access badge".
A system already highly developed in the United States, discovered by Eric Gaigneux during a trip to the Silicon Valley. Upon his return to France, he became aware of the potential of this type of solution for the future and founded Ze-Watt with two partners, Jean Arhainx and Hervé Delay. "We arrived at the right time, it was a match to a real need", says the manager. Winner of a French Tech subvention, several awards and financially supported by the regional development agency Madeeli, the start-up quickly took off. Ze-Watt even raised 1M € in 2017 (MP Croissance, Takara Capital, Crédit Agricole Toulouse 31 Initiatives and Bpifrance) to boost its growth.
The company of 10 employees, installed on the incubator of Toulouse Métropole, in Montaudran, plans to double its workforce by the end of the year and intends to deploy on the whole French territory.
Ze-Watt can now target new markets, especially communities or institutions: Lyon Métropole, CNES, and CNRS are already customers. The company also relies on small and medium businesses and the semi-public sector, such as shopping centers, a very important axis of development. Ze-Watt can also count on the good fairies of Disneyland, become a partner of the startup.
