The inseparable duo Kokogi Challenges, composed of Guillaume DE LUSTRAC (TBS 2018) and his partner Coco, present you their end of year double challenge! 🌟
On Sunday 19 December, Gui will set off for a 100km run, accompanied by Coco, on a bike along the Canal du Midi from Carcassonne to Toulouse with another objective: to raise €2,000 for the association A Chacun son Everest, which accompanies women & children in the "After Cancer" during stays in the mountains. These stays allow them to regain confidence, to rebuild themselves and to find a beautiful energy of life to project themselves into a new life! 💪
If this sporting challenge can represent a real Everest, the duo hopes through this opportunity to help these people overcome their own! Wouldn't this be a great way to end the year? 🎁
To help them in addition to your donation, two possibilities: share this double challenge around you or join them on the course, on foot or by bike (target pace: 12km/h) for 2km, 5 or more, from start to finish.
They need all three to overcome this huge challenge! 🤝
To join them on the course, feel free to contact them in advance via social networks @kokogichallenges!
Here are the estimated times of passage on Sunday 19 December 2021: Porte de l'Aude Cité de Carcassonne: 8:00 am (km0), Ecluse de Villesèque: 9:15 am (km15), Castelnaudary: 11:35 am (km43), Ecluse de Renneville: 1:40 pm (km66), Ecluse d'Ayguesvives: 3pm (km81), Castanet lock: 4pm (km93), Giordano Bruno Bridge CNES/INSA/Uni Paul Sabatier: 4:35pm (km100), Toulouse Place du Capitole: 5pm (km105). ... if all goes well!
What will the money collected be used for?
Since the creation of the association A Chacun Son Everest in 1994, the association has welcomed 4592 children and 1315 women towards their "Everest".
The restorative stays offered provide children and women with global, psychological and physical support.
6 days to help reconcile and re-appropriate their bodies, regain confidence, revitalise and recharge their batteries; regain self-esteem, restore their body image, free up their words, exchange with other people who have been through the same ordeal and project themselves back into the future.
These stays are an integral part of the treatment process. It is therefore essential that the doctors in the partner services prescribe our stays to their patients, as part of a genuine approach to care and therapeutic support.
