A builder’s dream: Pierre Aoun (TBS 2000)

Pierre Aoun holds a Bachelor degree from Toulouse Business School. He began working at LP Promotion 15 years ago.

Since then, the company has grown from being a family business with 12 employees to a regional leader in real estate. At first he had dreamed of a career in the financial world at the World Trade Center but he now believes that he made the right decision to return to his birthplace. “I knew we were embarking on a long adventure together, and even if it was fraught with challenges, there wouldn’t be any relationship problems between us”, he explained.

So, he became passionate about a career in real estate and, little by little, became active in professional bodies, such as serving as Vice-President of the Federation of Property Developers of the cities of Bordeaux and Toulouse. For him, thinking of a city is to make housing more acceptable.

"When you're at home, you will likely live well in your building, then in your neighbourhood, and if you can do that, you are likely to have a better life in the city," he says.

The company at which he is now General Manager has become one of the leaders of the residential market and is recognised as one of the Top 20 French real estate developers.
