Loïc Verdy, new player at the BSCR
Loïc Verdy (promo 2018) is a new player for the BSC rugby team for the season 2018-2019.
I was born in Clermont-Ferrand, where I lived until I was 20 years old.
"I learned to play rugby at the age of 7 at the ASM, and at 18, I had double access: preparing a bachelor's degree at the Clermont-Ferrand Business School and the entrance to the training center of the ASM", explains the 26 years 3rd liner (1.87 m, 98 kg) who knew to move abroad:"at 20 years I aimed for a double diploma in Dublin, where I also played rugby, and on my return, I had the opportunity to join to the training center of Toulouse stadium, for two years, while studying a master 1 at ESC Toulouse, now TBS" he continues.
Then, he moved further away: "two years pro in Aix-en-Provence, before returning one season to Valence d'Agen while following a master 2 in Toulouse, which was simplified this year with my coming in Blagnac, far fewer trips" he says. After a vacation in the USA, "for the wedding of my sister in Tennessee", he seeks a job, "in management control", and is enthusiastic: "after a life focusing on my studies then my work, I enjoy playing and seeing played here the rugby that I love.".
