TBS Education celebrates the official inauguration of its new campus in 22@ Barcelona with an event attended by political authorities, guests, and representatives of the TBS Education group.

The project required a total investment of 30 million euros by PERIAL Asset Management through its PFO2 fund, integrating ESG criteria

The opening ceremony was attended by Jaume Collboni, First Deputy Mayor of Barcelona City Council, Meritxell Serret i Aleu, Consellera d’Acció Exterior i Unió Europea de la Generalitat de Catalunya, Pierre Hurstel, President of TBS Education, Stéphanie Lavigne, Director of the TBS Education Group, Olivier Benielli, Director of the Barcelona Campus, Maxime Boyer, President of Toulouse Métropole and Nadia Pellefigue, Vice-President of the Regional Assembly of Occitania.

As Olivier Benielli, campus director, explains,

“the inauguration of this building initiates the complete renovation of all TBS Education campuses in all the cities where it is present: Barcelona, Casablanca, Paris, and Toulouse, as part of the TBS 2026 strategy”.

The director also emphasizes that “this strategic project stems from TBS Education’s desire to build new learning and living spaces adapted to the needs of future training in Management and focused on pedagogical well-being.

The location of this building in 22@ expresses the school’s firm desire to be a contributing player in the global dynamics of the city and the region.

The Barcelona campus is designed to have a positive social impact and offer its own experiential learning; it will be open, inspiring, and innovative.

What better area for such a project than the 22@ zone in Barcelona, dedicated to knowledge, innovation, and technology? It was obvious for us to integrate into what is a clear benchmark in terms of economic boosting of a region through a city policy that has been ongoing and voluntary for many years.”

An eco-responsible building equipped with state-of-the-art technology

The new, innovative and fully eco-responsible facilities are designed to meet the needs of the entire educational community. The design pursues a crucial objective: a commitment to urban mobility, sustainability and social responsibility.

The space features everything from equipment for cooperative learning to spaces designed for associations and events. The building features a 150 square meter student foyer, 300 square meter terrace, amphitheater, indoor agora, incubator, Kube room, two innovation rooms and a computer room.

In addition, the campus has a library, a cafeteria-restaurant, and a parking lot with numerous parking spaces for bicycles and motorcycles.

With this, the new TBS Education-Barcelona headquarters in 22@ is designed to be home to a generation of new talent.

In addition to the educational objectives of wellness within the campus, there are the purposes of improving efficiency and energy demand, which makes the 22@ campus a sustainable and comfortable building, equipped with state-of-the-art technology that has made the campus a candidate for LEED and Well certification, which measure the sustainability and quality of buildings as well as the wellbeing and health of their occupants.
