Support entrepreneurship in Ecuador with Chloé & Alexia !

Bring real support to Ecuadorian entrepreneurs by helping them develop their activity and improve quality of life through entrepreneurship!

Buenos Días a todos !

We are Alexia and Chloé, two very close friends, and we are leaving in July 2020 for six months on a voluntary mission to Ecuador with Impulso, a French association which connects students, Microfinance Institutes (IME) and local entrepreneurs.

Our mission

Accompany these entrepreneurs, the majority of whom are women, to develop their micro-companies. Owners of restaurants or shops, dressmakers or market sellers ; they run a variety of activities and our objective is to help them expand by uniting their knowledge and experience of the local market with our skills in marketing, communication or management.

Over and above the economic effect, the purpose of this mission is social. Our intention is in fact to set in motion development dynamics. By building up their businesses, these women, often in vulnerable situations, gain access to financial independence and improved quality of life which has a ripple effect on their entire families, in particular, their children.

Why ?

The relevance of this mission is confirmed in the light of abuse caused by microcredits (misuse of funds, over-indebtedness) and the lack of follow-up of those who benefit from funds. With daily support, longterm development is possible.

This social entrepreneurial project combines our motivation for entrepreneurship and our desire to commit to a cause we are passionate about : self-empowerment of women.

In situ we will be working in partnership with a local Microfinance Institute (IME), which finances these entrepreneurs.

Who are we ?

Two students who want to make a difference and are very keen for new adventures that pushed us to join Impulso !

One from Lille, the other from Toulouse, we met during our studies at Sciences Po Toulouse and at TBS Business School. We have been friends for three years now, and share the same passion for dance and travel. We have learned, in the scope of our studies, associative or sports projects, how to make our complementary personalities a true force! One of us is active and energetic, the other more calm and meticulous. We are both ambitious, passionate and full of ideas. We have always been very committed to the projects we have undertaken, and our perfectionist traits of character push us to give our very best.
