A change of course, Antoine has shaped his professional destiny
Antoine ADAM (TBS Education 2010) is a post-baccalaureate law student. During his studies, he took part in a university exchange program in Sweden. This experience led him to pursue a double master's degree in international law at the University of La Rochelle and in management at TBS Education. His legal studies gave him the foundations for learning, understanding and interpreting, while TBS Education provided him with operational strategy, project/team management and practical application. Both degrees opened doors, created a network and helped her to complete her first internship at Airbus.
In 2010, he entered the professional world, starting in TOTAL's legal department. After six months, he realized that the legal profession was not for him. In search of a new opportunity, he joined Leyton as a Business Developer, a profession for which he was not destined. After two years as Junior Business Developer, he became Manager. Leyton is an international consulting firm focused on financial leverage.
Leyton offered him the chance to climb the ladder again, and to become a market manager in Paris. A position combining commercial, legal and technical skills. Three years later, he opted for a change of direction and became South-West Manager.
His various positions within the company have enabled him to make a name for himself beyond the numbers. He has gradually established a bond of trust with management.
In 2020, the company plans to open a subsidiary in Sweden to explore a new market. Leyton has offered this opportunity to several employees, including Antoine. It's an opportunity to which he devotes a great deal of time and effort, studying the Swedish market and legislation, and training himself. He approached local service providers and employees, ready to sign in advance. During the recruitment process, Antoine presents himself with a pre-prepared project. He demonstrated his motivation and the fact that the job was for him and not for anyone else. He got the job.
Within two months, he had completed the project and opened the subsidiary, with the support of the Leyton Group. From the choice of premises to the first customers, he brought the project to fruition, growing from two employees at launch to a team of 29 today.
Beyond the professional challenge, Antoine has to adapt to a new corporate culture that differs markedly from that in France. Management is more horizontal and rights vary. Respect for the environment also plays an important role.
Antoine has been able to seize the opportunities offered, but also to create new ones by investing relentlessly in his business. He has proved himself, often by stepping out of his comfort zone. This significant investment has not been without sacrifice, but today, Antoine is fully fulfilled.
"I've been lucky enough to be supported by a favorable environment and to work for a company that is open to the development of its employees throughout their careers". Antoine ADAM.
