Éléonore LABROUCHE: catalyst of the TBS Alumni network

13 March 2025 Portraits / Podcasts

Éléonore LABROUCHE (MiM 2014) perfectly embodies the spirit of initiative and commitment of the TBS Alumni community. Today, alongside her position at CWF (Children Worldwide Fashion), she dedicates her expertise and energy to the TBS Alumni network as the head of the Nantes Chapter.

From digital marketing to Information Technology (IT) Management

When Éléonore entered the Master In Management Program at TBS Education, she thought she was going into marketing. But with each internship and experience, she discovered another world: the digital.

"It was thanks to TBS Education that I found my calling. I tested out several aspects of the digital world, from e-commerce to managing corporate tools, and I knew this was what I wanted to do."

Today, she is Head of IT Commerce at CWF (Children Worldwide Fashion), a company that develops children's collections for premium and luxury brands.

In her day-to-day work, Éléonore juggles the needs of the business teams (marketing, sales, e-commerce) with those of the IT teams (DSI).

"Without IT, there can be no sales, but without understanding business needs, IT can't work effectively. My role is to act as a link between these two worlds."

She oversees digital, retail and customer flows:
  • Product data: ensuring that an item posted online has all the right information (photos, description, price, etc.).

  • Transactions: ensuring that checkouts and online orders run smoothly.

  • Order management: overseeing the flow of orders, returns and stock, by integrating orders into the company's and the partner's information system.

  • Customer experience: streamline the shopping experience, both in-store and e-commerce, and create a single customer repository.

Nantes Chapter: creating links between Alumni of TBS Education

When Éléonore arrived in Nantes, she discovered that there were around ten TBS Education Alumni in the city, but that few meetings were organized. So she decided to take over the Nantes Chapter, a place where graduates can meet up, share their professional experiences and help each other.

"I noticed that a lot of alumni were there, but didn't necessarily know each other. The idea was to recreate a real network."

To mark the launch of the Chapter, Éléonore organized its first afterwork in September 2024, attended by over 30 graduates. A real success, proving that the desire to get together is there!

"We had some great exchanges. Some hadn't seen each other since school, others didn't know anyone before coming. It was exactly what I wanted to create!"

Its aim is to organize regular events that combine conviviality and professional usefulness:

  • Themed afterworks: an opportuniy to meet up and discuss relevant topics.
  • Career workshops: enable graduates to share their career paths and give advice to younger students.
  • Informal events: simply get together over a drink to exchange ideas and develop your network.

Her next event: a public speaking workshop

On June 10, 2025, Chapter Nantes is organising a special event: a workshop on public speaking, led by Violette Thouzeau (PGE 2010), a former HR and public speaking trainer for the past 5 years.

Why this topic? Because in professional life, knowing how to express yourself with confidence often makes the difference, whether in a meeting, an interview or a presentation.

This workshop will allow participants to:

- Build confidence in public speaking

- Master the techniques needed to captivate an audience

- Practice in a supportive environment and learn by doing.

A great opportunity for all those who want to improve their oral fluency while meeting other alumni.

In the meantime, the Nantes Chapter will set a date to meet up for a drink.

Dare to try and persevere

For a successful career, Éléonore encourages students and recent graduates to step out of their comfort zone, don't hesitate to take on challenges and to wait for the right opportunity without rushing.

"The job market is increasingly demanding, but you shouldn't be afraid to take the plunge. Dare, test, learn!"
